How and when did you accept Christ in your life: I was a very curious child and began to ask questions after my great grandmother passed away. The pastor came to our house and after my questions were all answered, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. ( I was 10 yrs. old ) Where else have you worked in radio or ministry: WSVM, Valdese, NC; WDLF, Marion, NC; WKVS, Lenoir, NC; WMMY, Deep Gap, NC; WCIS, Morganton, NC. Also served as a staff member at Look-Up Lodge Christian Retreat Center College: Mars Hill College – Class of ‘93 Three people you admire: My grandmother; my husband Favorite Food: Chocolate!!! (Especially chocolate milkshakes and peanut M&Ms) Christian Book (besides The Bible) that has influenced you: Power of a Praying Wife – Stormie Omartian, Living Beyond Yourself, Beth Moore. Favorite Movie: A Bug’s Life; Steel Magnolias Person who personally influenced your walk with Christ: I have been blessed to have many Godly mentors in my life: Martha, Leanne, Sherry, Susan, Bonnie, Peggy and others…(you know who you are) J Favorite Color: Blue What do you enjoy in your free time: Spending time with Hubby and family, running, reading, outdoor activities; Most boring job: Inventory at a furniture store (not a good job for a hyper person like me…) Something about me you might not know: I’ve written a book.
